- CENTRAL ZONES ENTRY: (7/2/09) The Centeral Zones entry procedures have changed for 2009 and are due to Eric Follmuth, ISI Age Group Chair by noon on Monday, July 27 (this is Monday before the LC Champs in Iowa City). Any swimmer holding a 'AAA' or faster time will need to meet this new entry deadline to be allowed to swim that event at zones. RULES & REGULATIONS: (1/29/09) USA Swimming Rules & Regulations 102.9.1 - Swimwear amendment will become effective May 15, 2009 reads as follows:
102.9.1 Design
A.) Swimsuits worn for all 12 & under age group defined competition shall not cover the neck, extend past the shoulder, nor past the knee.
B.) Swimsuits worn for competition must be non-transparent and conform to the current concept of the appropriate.
C.) The Referee shall have the authority to bar offenders from the competition until they comply with the rule.
